**Halved the Resolution and Re-uploaded. Not sure what I was thinking with that first resolution... Side-note: This new DA tag system seems buggy. It either adds a ton of redundant tags, or doesn't post all of them.

*Now added to Equestria Daily's Tutorial Codex! :iconepicgrouphugplz: www.equestriadaily.com/2013/06…

After several months of work, I've FINALLY finished this project! Hopefully this helps even more artists than the 1st edition. Time for me to get back to drawing ponies! :iconepicgrouphugplz:

"I was thrilled to learn that the 1st Edition drawing guide was able to help so many artists. That was my goal - the sole purpose for that guide. After plenty of studies, I improved my skill immensely. I wanted to share my new knowledge with other artists, so I made a little post about this 2nd Edition guide being in the works. I received a good number of requests for specific additional content, such as character posing and gryphons. This is for you everypony, and everyone! I sincerely hope this helps you out! /)" -Welcome Message

You might see a progress bar flash quickly if you have a fast internet connection. Don't worry about that, it's just a pre-loader I made for this guide. This edition is 2.5x larger than the previous one. Like the 1st edition, I've made this edition available for download. Feel free to take it with you for offline viewing if you'd like.

This seems like it'll be really nifty! It's way too big though, I have to scroll around to read various part of the screen. Is there any way to shrink it down, or perhaps download it for offline viewing?

Sorry about that. I halved the resolution and re-uploaded the file. It should be much easier to read now. To download the .swf for offline viewing, right-click the Download button, and choose "Save Link As..." That option may also appear as "Download Linked File As."
I guess the Display Resolution option only works for still images, not for Flash content. Lesson learned. :icontwilightblushplz:

just wondering: is the proportions for the EQG boys the same as for girls?

From what I've seen in various shots, yes, both male and female Equestria Girls models share the same proportions. There are some exceptions though, such as: Flash Sentry; Snips; Snails; Big Macintosh; and Featherweight, who all have different body types. Some males are a bit taller than females, e.g. Flash Sentry when next to Twilight Sparkle, but not all are. I'm going on a bit here, sorry. Sweating a little...  In short, yes, both boys and girls in Equestria Girls share the same proportions.

The long answer is fine. It seems to be a tradition amongst analysts to turn your oc into a human when reviewing EQG, and since most of us are male... it would be nice to know.
